Description: This study aims to provide an analysis of the coronavirus discourse in Turkish media and the discursive construction of ‘coronaphobia’ within the framework of the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA).

Description: Building a nationa-wide written and spoken corpus for student language covering Grades 2-12th (from primary school to high school) in Turkiye.

Description: Investigation of women’s co-constructed narratives during the sociocultural ritual of coffee-cup readings in Turkiye.


Data collector, transcriber, annotator, THE SPOKEN TURKISH CORPUS, 2008-2011.

The project was supported by TUBITAK & METU Research Fund, led by Dr. Sukriye Ruhi & Dr. Hale Işık-Güler, and a group of researchers at METU.
